 Radio Solent
A guy calling himself MalayanVet has posted this note in the Radio Solent Message Board, has anyone any comment to make
Message 1 - posted by MalayanVet**, Just Now
I listened in to Radio Solent a week ago, where a discussion was held regarding Malayan & Malaysian War Veterans from the UK not having the right to wear the Pingat Jasa Malaysia Medal.
Honest I have never heard anything so ludicrous, The Queen has granted permission for Australian and New Zealand veterans who fought alongside us in this forgotten war to wear the PJM but Her Majesty has refused permission for UK veterans the right to wear the medal.

 Media News
I have just added my comments. I have also responded to the chap who appears to be a member of RBL, who says that HMQ gave permission to receive the PJM 18 months ago. I have agreed with that statement and added that it was permission to wear that had been withheld.

Just emailed Julien and told him we love him (theoretically) for the energy he is putting into supporting the F4.

Thanks very much, Ivor. Support from around the world is of particular help to the Beeb - and to us! Barry

I have listened to the segment on the PJM on the radio and am very heartened by the great support that Radio Solent is giving us. Does anyone know how many people listen to this station in Hampshire and surrounding areas.

I was up early to get this broadcast which started here at 1630 hrs. I only just made it out of bed!
They were rabbitting on about a "Snow Report Competition", so I thought that I should be in it.
Phone them and then sent an email in confirmation.
Haven't heard anything since.
G'day Julian,
Just confirming my telephone call a few minutes ago, to enter your Snow report Competition.
I confirm that the snow current report as told to your telephone answering person is as follows.
No snow, bright sunshine. Current temperature 29 Deg C or 83 in the old money.
Location. Townsville, North Queensland, Australia, where the weather today is beautiful. Tomorrow, it will be perfect.
===========================
It was only 1 or 2 degrees C where they were. Its warmer than that inside my frig.
