Here is a document that sets out our Top Ten references that support the case for the PJM to be worn by British citizens.

Why not download the document, write a one-liner email or letter in support of our campaign, and send it to your MP?

It's in Word, RTF and PDF formats. Just click one of the links and save the document to your computer.

Great lobbying, lo_rre!

If this is Alistair Carmichael, I think he signed Don Touhig's EDM (and Jeffery Donaldson's last year), but he'll still be pleased to receive support for his views.

Thanks for your support.

Barry

Thank you Barry,

Just sent the following off to a number of ministers and civil servants at Westminister.

Dear Ministers of HMG and civil servants at Whitehall who are involved with the PJM medal case please take a moment out of your busy schedule to read the the following Top Ten Key references in the PJM medal issue.

http://www.fight4thepjm.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1236

Then I request you have a look at this group of medals to prove that the wearing of foreign medals by British veterans is not being disrespectful to The Sovereign.

Groups with an unusual foreign award
http://www.britishmedalforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=272

Why, were these British ex officers and ex servicemen allowed to wear foreign medals alongside their British medals and Malaya Borneo Veterans are forbidden to wear the PJM medal?

Dear FCO Ministers

The Secretary of State for FCO affairs is Margaret
Beckett MP, is responsible for the work of the FCO.
She is assisted by you ministers:

- Geoff Hoon MP Hoong@parliament.uk
- Ian McCartney MP McCartneyi@parliament.uk
- Dr Kim Howells MP Howellsk@parliament.uk

Katy Clark MP asked the Foreign Secretary over three
months ago ‘ when the HD Committee will report on the
right to wear the PJM medal review’ and The
Secretary of State for FCO affairs Margaret Beckett
MP, replied “by the end of November” 2006.

The FCO website states: The purpose of the FCO is to
work for UK interests in a safe, just and prosperous
world. We do this with some 16,000 staff, based in the
UK and our overseas network of over 200 diplomatic
offices. Why then are veteran UK citizens still waiting for an
answer to this report two and a half months later?

Finally, Enclosed is the following Top Ten Key
references in the PJM medal case for the FCO Ministers
Hoon, McCartney & Howells perusal.

You will need to replace Chris Edge OBE with tanya.collingridge@fco.gov.uk if you remember Chris got the golden order of the boot 2nd class.

Thanks Paul,

I have recorded that, but Mr Edge is still hanging around the FCO offices somewhere, and I dont think he should be allowed to get away with the chicanery he got up to while dealing with the PJM medal case from the outset.
