I wrote a letter to the Time and it is yet to be published and to be honest I don't think it will be so I'll display it here.

Sir Robin Janvrin

Congratulation to Sir Robin Janvrin a member of the Honours and Decorations Committee for awarding himself permission to accept and formally wear the Antigua & Barbuda 25th Anniversary Independence Medal; Sir Robin along with the rest of the Committee which includes Denis Brennan of the Cabinet Office decided to put aside the rule which forbids the award of foreign medals which commemorate events more than fives years ago. This is the same rule which this HD Committee used just a few months ago to forbid British Veterans from wearing the Pingat Jasa Malaysia Medal (PJM) awarded to 35,000 British Veterans for defending Malay/Borneo against aggression for which British Forces paid a high price.
Hypocrisy or what I’ll let you be the judge.
