Today in Parliament, Don Touhig asked the Prime Minister when 35,000 would be allowed to wear the PJM.

Mr Brown said he would look into it!

I just sent him an e-mail pointing out the fact that I believe he has the Veteran's Badge confused with a medal,and also asking him to persue the original question ref the PJM.

Good point Smudger....there are some, it seems, who have difficulty in distinguishing the difference between a badge and a medal...

I notice that very few Knights of the Realm are to be seen wearing badges though?...probably don't have room for them after they have pinned on all the decorations 'for events more than 5 years previous' for which they have received unrestricted approval....?
