Thanks Jock,
Oh Boy, Oh Boy, what a kick up the rear end for the HD committee who
advised The Queen to refuse permission for veterans to wear the PJM.

Actually Stan, Murdoch renounced his Australian citizenship in order to become a USA citizen. Good job too we don't want the slimeball.

Well, that did not last long ! Ihave just been to see if their were any new comments at the Sunday Mirror, and note that mine has been removed. For those who did not read it I asked the source of the misinformation, adding that documents of proof that the Queen has refused wear of the medal have been denied to us. I pointed out (And am sure this is why my post was removed) that Janvrin claimed the PJM broke their rule that medals from 5 years or more for events in the distant past, yet that HE himself had accepted, with the right of full wear, a medal for an event of 25 years ago.

I'm in - Well done everbody, it should get old "Bunny" and Brengun worrying a bit now!
Come to think of it, normally with such info there would be a Reporter's or Journalist's name after it;
I rekon that it could have been a deliberate "trawl" as a start to something (hopefully) much better for us.

In this most recent article "Medal victory for Borneo vets"
'The Ministry of Defence says a General Service Medal was awarded to all the servicemen involved in the conflict, and the decision was taken to preserve the integrity of that accolade.'
http://www.sunderlandecho.com/news?articleid=3087733
The MOD are still mouthing the same lie about all PJM recipients receiving a PJM medal. Is it not time this untruth be challenged by getting a photograph of those veterans wearing a single PJM medal and sending the photograph to the newspapers. Seeing is believing.

......Quite so GLOman....a most astute observation!....I have just spent a fruitless 15 minutes searching for an email method of contacting the Editor of that publication....almost looks as though he/she does not wish to make that available?
Anyone got such an addy handy?

Such trawl's are usually written by editors or sub editors. I think there could be a much bigger follow up article if we give them enough information.
