Yes Barry, it does ! It is for that reason I getv angry when, having read a 'story' there are those who think it is gospel, without any further form of investigation to determine if true.

I don't think there are many contributors to this website who are so gullible as believe all they read in the newspapers. We have all been badly bruised over the last 2 1/2 years in this PJM fight.

Our contributors quote and post articles that may be of interest to readers who can decide whether the article is plausible - or even 'true'.

If I read anything that is reasonably plausible that illustrates the way some elements in the civil service and HMG use and abuse their powers, particularly when such actions potentially adversely affect servicemen and women and veterans, then I shall publicise it, let readers make up their own minds - and then let HMG and the suits involved explain themselves. In my experience, they have got a lot of explaining to do.

Barry, even when the information is unfounded, and has been denied by a third party (Red Arrows Spokesperson)?

It is a fact that certain government spin doctors deliberately release information of a highly dubious nature to test the water.

If there is no reaction then it may be adopted but if there is a reaction it is declared false and shelved. It is becoming more difficult by the day to tell truth from fiction period so always err on the side of caution. I speak as a person who is in the local papers most weeks and is used to seeing reports of council debates or individual quotes miss quoted to the point of fiction to suit the politics of the editor.
