Caption Competition
Don't say anything Phil but I've got a great collection myself and, if you're interested, and want to meet me after the parade I'll swop them with you for that one on the end!!
or
Did you hear the one about the chap from the HD Committee?
He wrote to the MHC to ask if he qualified for the PJM as he had spent time in the far east (Skegness!!!!!) in the sixties, working for the works and bricks dept as a decorator, the first step on the road to his present position!!
or
It's at the top of my Christmas wish list to Santa again this year!!
or
I can't give you permission to wear it but if you ask Barry and Jock to use their influence and get one for me, then I can ask my wife to create you Earl Phil of Malaysia!
and finally
If I can get her to give you all permision to wear it, in her Christmas Day speech to the Commonwealth, you promise to send all of the photographs and negatives and never refer to Boogey Street again!!!!

A Cracker of a Comp! And the winner is ...
The competition was for the most appropriate Caption for this photograph. What do you think one Phil is saying to the other Phil as he spots the PJM?
And the winner is : .... Semengo13 with this belter of a caption:
"It's all very well you smiling mate, but her indoors hasn't given permission to wear it. Look, if you're copped, just put on an Australian accent".
Our congratulations to John. The special prize for this special competition is ... dada da da ... a set of four Malaya-Borneo 40th Anniversary First Day Covers individually signed - including a very special one postmarked on Christmas Day 2005 - and signed personally by the Fight4thePJM Joint Patron Bill Speakman VC! These priceless keepsakes will be in the post to John on Monday!

A Cracker of a Competition
A great competition with a really special prize which I shall treasure. There were lots of other great entries on the forum and I feel very lucky to win.
Most importantly I hope we all had a good laugh.
A big thanks to the committee who set these things up, resource them and tirelessly beaver away towards the ultimate aim.
John

Congrats John
I hear the third time you win this comp that you get to wear the PJM on your Pyjams in front of HM, any forecast when that will be? Hills and Ladbrokes are taking the bets.............

Thanks John.
It will be just after we win this campaign. Then we can all wear it on our pyjamas together. With permission.
Regards,
John
