I wasn't expecting too much activity as today was the first day of the Channel 4 article. Wrong!!! As of 2 minutes ago I have had 59 calls. Poor Carol as been answering the phone all the time as I've been at work. I've now changed the original quote to state that the quakifying period begins in 1957, and to restrict phone calls to after 17:00. Carol and the dogs deserve a MID for their devotion to duty during today's onslaught. Most of the callers do not qualify, which is sad, and is one reason for modifying the TV quote. Of those who do qualify, very few are on the internet and so cannot access this site. I have stressed to them about the silly rule so that at least they are aware and might be able to do something about it. One caller is on the Committee of his local British Legion and he is raising the subject tomorrow night. One thing that has impressed Carol is that every one of the callers has been polite and friendly - says a lot about the honour and integrity of veterans - are you listening HD Committee. By the way, since starting this epistle, the total has advanced to 61.

I scanned the pages on Servicepals today and found someone asking for information on the PJM. I have sent him a copy of Fred's application form and with it a covering letter and a copy of our fact sheet. I have pointed him in the direction of this web site, although I'm not sure if he has access to the internet. Maybe another small acorn?
