 National Media Coverage??
Anyone know what it would cost for a half or full page in a national daily? It is a tactic commonly used to get a message and or protest across to thousands upon thousands of people who may still not be aware of what is going on and I for one would contribute to the cost.
We certainly have the skills on the committee capable of producing the "zap 'em" of all time copy for the page and the suits couldn't block that one.
Or would it undermine the "integrity of the Imperial Honours System". (Do voluntary work for many years to help others, zilch, make a few pop records and get very rich, name your own award) What integrity !!
Just a thought.

I think this might be out of our price range, why don't we do a simultaneous blitz to Letter Editors of both National and Regional
Have a look here

 Re National Media Coverage
Thanks for the link John (C). Didn't realise it was that expensive. I agree there is merit in a targetted and focussed letter writing though. As ever we would be at the mercy of some sub-editors whim, which was part of my earlier thinking in controlling events.
I just think we need to find a way to get some real attention before any forthcoming questions in Parliament. I too favour a more direct approach John (I) in order to achieve it.
Back to the drawing board perhaps.

Don't despair, be confidant, we have a lot up our sleevies (!) Armies come to mind but seriously we can't put too much up on an open forum as those CTs might just get Chin Peng to be their leader again. I wonder if this is a bit too cryptic for the dipsticks!

You're not a Bletchley Park worker trying to crack that Enigma Code are you?

 Blogs
Now apparently 'blogging' is the way to diseminate information world wide to the greatest effect, it was one blogger who filmed a Dell battery catching fire in his room and 'blogged' it that resulted in millions of pounds worth of batteries being recalled! Do we have any 'bloggers' out there? More to the point, who knows what it means? (only joking)

The Press Association is the one to use but to get the best response the person contacting them should be the most informed and reasonable person possible so in which case I would recommend that Barry should be the one to do it.
