Browsing through the Foreign Office web site I read the booklet for staff in dealing with Freedom of Information requests.
http://www.fco.gov.uk/Files/kfile/FOIGettingitRight,0.pdf
You will see it is entitled "Getting it Right" !!
On page 24 it lists where exemptions may be made and refers to number 37 which is information regarding Honours.
Now this is not listed as an "absolute" exemption but one subject to "In the Public Interest" test.
One of the criteria for this test (page 19) is to release information if it will contribute to Public Understanding !!
Surely then, the release of the HD minutes concerning the PJM, could only help us to understand this seemingly unfair and unjust
decision of theirs. Or would it
I think I will ask them.
