 Another MP supports us
I have received another letter today from Mr Hugh Bayley, Labour MP for York in response to various communications I have sent to him over the last few weeks.
Among the points he has made, are the following:-
"I have already made your views known to Government" and in response to the current review, " ...the Committee on the Grant of Honours, Decorations and Medals is considering the further points that have been made by those seeking to wear the PJM, and they will make their decision in due course". and "I do hope their decision will be to grant formal permission for the PJM to be worn".
It has been a long hard slog but I think we can now count him among our supporters.

 Another MP supports us
Does anyone know the source of the "grave discourtesy to The Queen" statement?
It looks like the Suits have typically quoted the "this is not policed anyway" argument to my MP who passed it on trying to be helpful. They conveniently appear to have failed to mention the "grave discourtesy" element.
Who is running this country?
Barry, would you object to me using the words from your earlier post to point out what the lack of formal permission means. They sum it up perfectly.

John,
Please feel free to use all or any of what I've posted.
Thanks for your continuing support at this highly critical time.

The wearing of unauthorised awards is a grave discourtesy to Her Majesty The Queen.

I gave this anology to a man in the HC in Canberra, during a phone conversation during the week.
A portion of a road is being repaired and there have been some speed cameras placed there to ensure that drivers do not speed down the road.
A notice appears in the local paper saying that the police have now removed the cameras but that the speed limits are still in place but the police will not be monitoring that stretch of road.
Now then, if you pass down that road and are speeding, are you aware that you are breaking the law?
