This photograph should grab anyone by the heartstrings - we can only but hope it hits home in London.

It shows a five year old lad looking for his Dad's name. Dad was killed in Iraq in 2003.

The picture appears on the front page of today's Daily Telegraph. . . . . . . . . and it cracked me right up.

Post Kentsboro.
Yes, I was very sad when I saw this photograph on the bbc news site.

I am 70 years of age now but I can still recall vividly rushing down the street at 3 years of age to meet my Dad just home from Dunkirk. He was one of the lucky ones.

This is why we must fight these people who treat our brave armed forces with disrespect and insult us veterans who demand the right to wear our PJM with pride.

Respect cannot be bought, nor can it be demanded through position in life, it must be earned and I say that our brave forces and our veterans have earned it.

Those who say that the British public do not support their armed forces are talking through a hole in their rear.
