I have just been informed that there is a petitions page on the 10 Downing Street web page where you can either electronically sign an existing petition or you can start one of your own.

John,
I saw that e-petition on the Downing Street web site last month and it was full of rubbish like Noddy for Prime Minister or Big Ears to take over the MoD, they forgot to tell them they have already got the jobs.

 Zapping away.
I have just finished writing to all ten members for the South East, who sit in the European Parliament. If you think it might help - go to the web site , and enter your Post Code. It will then give you a list of the MEPs for your area. ZAP 'EM.

For some strange reason, the Write To Them web address did not appear on my last post - here it is www.writetothem.com - sorry about that. - Tony

 Revised decision date ???
Having just received yet another letter from the Cabinet Office, Ceremonial Secretariat, or should I say "Secret"ariat, I have again been advised of the lack of Civil Service resources required to carry on correspondance with the likes of me !!
As this is my second official warning, does that mean I get a "bar" to my Persona non Grata medal? More importantly, can I wear it.
The letter ends, I quote, "An announcement about any recommendations by the Committee will be made once the matter has been considered. We hope this will be before the end of the year".
Any bets for last working day before Christmas, 4.59 pm !!

I don't like the sound of that, we keep getting these 'hopes' dashed, if this lot was running a business the administrators would have long wound them up as there would be no takers for such a defunct organisation

 Revised decision date ???
I take it with a pinch of salt John. One thought though, a strategic release of an unpalatable u turn, for them, would have minimal exposure (they hope) if released on 23rd at 4.59 pm or similar.

Semengo raises a very well considered and intelligent point.
...if they were contemplating a reversal of their position, an announcement buried on page 19, after all the ad's for Boxing day Sales, would certainly serve to cover any blushes that these insufferable, two-faced toads might have left in them.
